Art de la marionnette, fameuse tête composée du Bibliothécaire peinte par Giuseppe Arcimboldo, chronophotographie d’Étienne-Jules Marey… Différentes influences traversent l’installation multimédia conçue en 2010 à l’occasion du Salon international du livre ancien, de l’estampe et du dessin. Clin d’œil au corps humain, thème de cette 22e édition, la décomposition ludique des mouvements d’un homme-livre semble nous dire que le patrimoine écrit est plus vivant que jamais. ; Une reproduction de cette œuvre a été publiée dans le journal Lire.
A multimedia art installation was created for the 2010 International Antiquarian Book and Fine Print Fair in Paris. The installation brought together the art of puppeteering, the famous Bookseller portrait by Giuseppe Arcimboldo and Étienne-Jules Marey's chronophotographic portraits - amongst many other artistic influences. To reflect the theme of this 22nd edition of the Salon (the human body), the movements of a 'man-book' jolted into motion are broken down : a symbolic installation telling us that the written heritage is still very much alive. A reproduction of the work of art was published in Lire magazine.
